This song is actually the first one that we had worked up for the album. Dillon wrote the first half of the lyrics before we even had music, and I sat on these lyrics for months before I came up with anything else. This song has been like a puzzle for the past two years, we wrote it in the middle of recording our first album. We took out riffs, made new riffs, polished transitions, and eventually threw everything away besides the main verse and chorus. It was not until this summer that we decided that this would be a lead in track to "Together We Live Today". With that idea in mind, we started coming up with random jams that could lead into the drumroll in the beginning of TWLT..and finally we found the jam. We were very excited to get this one out on record because it took so long to finally create.
