Last Advice 05:55
Now if you’d give me just a minute darling Then I’ll show you where to look These things are always hard to find So lets keep the rhythms moving slow And you remember that you were talking To a man you used to know He dug up your roots to reason And the reason lies unknown It’s too late for love When you try you’re gunna lose again Stop You should know by now What you lost your going to prove somehow It’s not the same you wanted but I know it works It’s not the same you wanted and I know it hurts I know, its not my problem but, I know, its none of your concern but, We balance on tightropes. Will we fall off? Will we learn? I know I tried, I know I did because, If I didn’t then my plans would show Did I change my mind? Or am I still waiting on another rhyme It’s not the same you wanted but This should work It’s not the same you wanted and I know it hurts I know before the day is done That this fuss and fighting lingers on But we cannot plan or fight these feelings because They have already won. And then the line breaks And we fall through the floor That was caved in, And you knew it was in store. I’ve been alone and I think its time, To patch these seems and mend our ties. Listen, you know this is right, There’s only one option but my tongue I will bite. And they will place their bets and they will roll their dimes, That these words we use will be our last advice. It’s too late for love, When we try we’re going to lose again. Stop We should do this right. It’s not the same you wanted but, I know it works, It’s not the same you wanted and, I know it hurts

Can’t show you my eyes They tell the same fucking stories Stories of my soul Can’t look into your eyes They linger on while the messages die One tells one, one tells all Will you give in, where you’re given? Will you give in? No Was it you who came to watch The masses fall that we counted on? Slow down before you stall And cave in If you fall short then come in Distant we control hues of Vibrant minds and brilliant masks We unaware, float down this spectrum As she hitches down the road you left at Stone, you become before the rain Threaded tightly with the Earth Escape the ties that drag you upward Beyond the grid, beyond the grid Was it you who came to watch The masses fall that we counted on? Slow down before you stall And cave in If you fall short then come in

Dance and sing for we are okay The lines you drew would take us through to the interstate Open up your arms and let the sun come in Tomorrow alone is dark Together we live today Are we bound to fall apart without our keep? The same old toll that scorched them all will drag you by your feet. Looking on down far that road I crashed into a ditch so close And in there laid, for several days I was screaming for my get away But a fool should know the past don’t make sense. The road you make is the one you build over concepts cast aside. Or be together until we die.

Mama love Its time for repair Your voice is shrill your curtain tears And now I long to hear your song Mama love Have I seen you before? My eyes were blind and I was unaware And now you choose to learn my name What is the use in your mourning? Who is going to take? When will he come without warning, To fill up the lines at stake? We will wait It fills in time And here we lay it on the line Before the cost of what you pay to use, you must keep your mind Inches close, yet far behind The answer will come with time Now as I yell from my story You tell me the water is getting high It’s going on four in the morning So tell me before we get dry We know it was you You kill her before it even started Buy more than you would use To start war In time we’ll see what falls In words we know only ours Doctrinal lies won’t cure us all The mass will never learn to crawl

I’ll travel eastward, you head westbound We’ll meet up along the way Let’s share some stories until it gets boring Then we’ll drive away We’re not the same kids in the basement Why did time change who we are? I don’t mean to be a burden I don’t mean to pry But you should know The cards that we are dealt remain face down One too many, or never any I can never tell where I am ought to be I just want to waste a day with you Let the noise pass overhead But we forgot It’s lost These thoughts wont follow through You won’t be bothered By pressure anymore Your vines grow stronger They tie around your door We can mend We can find a way To keep our bridges high Go against the cards you’re dealt And drive on by Or at least we will find our words again

Later On 05:03
The colors pull me in With subtlety, oh so free And a smile that tears down towers Walking through this foggy street Your storm comes in easily It washes your windows It keeps the surface clean The rain will sink in the air we breathe No make the lives you read Just focus on the ending It is never too late For the eyes who've seen mistakes The lenses fall into place You take the picture And I'll hold the frame And I don't care too much for living If by living we just keep on dying This race in life is for everyone Don't run, keep on keeping on Tell my dreams to meet me up later on That liquor bottle take turn around the table Midday wind blow in through so lazily As sure as sin we are good and able Let it take, let it wash our troubles away It is never too late For the eyes who've seen mistakes The lenses fall into place You take the picture And I'll hold the frame And I don't care too much for living If by living we just keep on dying This race in life is for everyone Don't run, keep on keeping on Tell my dreams to meet me up later on I've been walking tall Machine gun legs Trying to think of just anything until.... "Oh my God I know it's time for a change" I've been losing sight, losing right Leading on my abilities But I know now, I know Meet me later on

about

Cacophonous Groovechild, The Deep Ends second album represents both right, wrong and everything in between. Love it or tear it apart, we ask our fans to do both. To us, it represents dissonance resonating from screeching feedback of our amplifiers. It represents the consonance of wasting a day with an acoustic guitar on a hammock. It is the day that you wake up and all that you want to do is blast the loudest, most disgusting music from the confides of your own room. It is also the day that you drive aimlessly until you are completely lost, for the sole purpose of good conversation with a friend. It is the delicate dance between tension and release, selfishness and selflessness, greed and gratitude, discordant and groovy. We are all Cacophonous Groove Children because we are always contradicting ourselves. When you hear this album, do not let just one song fool you. When the album drops, rip it from the internet, buy it from us, throw it out of your car window after the 30 seconds in, or blast it from your speakers on repeat. Whichever way that you choose to roll; we love you for it.
